Richmond

When I originally saw this large house near Richmond it was a maze of rooms with no real flow. Working with the Architects Snell David, the brief was to create a coherent home for a young family. Whilst the new parts of the house were contemporary, the classical proportions of the principal rooms required a more formal treatment.

The exceptionally light, double height kitchen area is now the hub of the home. A combination of bespoke joinery and European furniture were used throughout and the clients artworks were hung salon-style.

“I love Amanda’s use of colour, the way she uses different shades of the same colour. We are really pleased with our house and she put a lot of time and effort into making it what it is. She gives sound advice and thinks things through thoroughly.”
